Philosophy

We seek to understand the basic rules of order in design.
Mankind revels in the accomplishments of past inventors, and this is of course appropriate.  However, the commonly held perception that all of the basic inventions have been found, is patently false.   A second commonly held view is, that the extension of functionality or innovation necessarily involves minutia, and complications of design.  This is also false.

We believe that the route to new fundamental inventions, lies in philosophy.  That is to say the critical examination of how and why things work the way they do, with the goal of uncovering basic rules of order.

From our examination of the philosophy of energy we have developed a number of designs, which are in various stages of the patent with the USPTO.   The PEC, Pressure to Electric Converter, is is the first of these fundamental inventions for collecting energy from the environment.

The design of the PEC is based upon our understanding of the critical components necessary to generate electricity, using conventional Electro-magnetic generators.    The critical component is cyclic-force.

In conventional power generation system, the force of heated fluid, or flowing water are transformed in to cyclic-force via geared mechanisms.  These geared mechanisms generally convert the force in to rotation, which is then used to operate conventional generators.

We then sought to locate un-tapped non-cyclic forces that could be converted by innovative geared mechanisms into cyclic force for electric generation.  Our search revealed that one of the most commonly occurring of these forces is the movement of humans and animals.

The PEC based systems offered through this website, are the implementations of that research.  And we believe that PEC designs will open the door to widespread energy collection with no destruction of the natural environment.

Since its introduction on 01.06.08, we have received a lot of mail from may different sectors of the economy.  The academic community has been split 50/50 positive/negative.  The governmental community has been about 60/40 against.   And commercial engineering has been on the one hand extremely skeptical and even openly hostile, and on the other hand intrigued.  But the one thing that nearly all writers have in common, is an abiding passion about the technology.

To those who are so passionate, I say why?  Ask yourself, why?  I believe that this technology touches a nerve, because those insightful enough to understand its potential, realize that a shade has been lifted.   This is not just a product, not just an innovative technology, it is the beginning of a new science.  The science of gravity capture.  An in-elegant name for sure, perhaps you have a better one.

In closing I can only say, to you the engineer, to you the innovator...if you embrace the concept of infinity, then you must realize that everything is yet to be discovered.
