The performance of GSE fluid pumps depends on the following factors;

- GSE Model
- Traffic Volumes
- Traffic Speed
- Reset Interval

  - Source Head
  - Target Head
  - Fluid Viscosity
  - Temperature

The curve for compressors and speed sponges are synchronous as to design.

Reset intervals are key to device performance.  At high speeds an 18" wide device will be struck many times per second.  If the model is not closely engineered for the traffic, and application then the GSE device will generally be able to provide sustained performance limited by the lack of appropriate feature selection.
